The therapists of Jon R. Urey, Ph.D. & Associates are dedicated to providing services with sensitivity and compassion, with the objective of empowering individuals and families to handle the challenges they face in a changing world.  There is a dedication to providing services from a Christian perspective; however, other faith traditions are always respected.  While we strive to infuse Christian values into our treatment, we do recognize that we are therapists, and not theologians.  

Several principles guide our practice.  First, all cients and their families are treated with the utmost respect and dignity, striving to model the attitude and behavior of Christ in his ministry to others.  Second, facilitating a balance for each individual's development along mental, physical, and spiritual dimensions.  Third, promoting the integrity of families through inclusion of family members in the therapy process as much as possible.  Finally, delivering services consistent with the highest ethics and standards of our profession.

Treatment approaches and modalities are drawn from a variety of styles and techniques and tailored to the needs of the individual client.  Our mission is the empowerment of individuals and families to resolve issues and problems that are obstacles to attaining their long range goals.
